Updates

 We are at the point where things are going to go fast but it also seems like eternity. Our Termination of Parental Rights hearing is among us and will be soon. Please pray for us during this time. It's an emotional roller coaster for all involved. We (her extended family, team, and us) feel that termination is in S's best interest and she deserves a permanent family. Her biological parents are still unable to be reached and have no interest in S or her well being. It's very sad that they feel this way, but we are ready to be there for her forever. Please also consider putting her bio parents in your prayers and pray that they can turn their life around and seek a life with Jesus.

I promise we will update you when the road is nearing the end, but at this time, we just ask for some privacy and time to really reflect on all that is happening and the swift changes being made in S's life and our life. It's very emotional for us to be at this stage. Being involved in terminating another's rights is something that has affected us greatly. We didn't want this for her bio parents but they have left us no choice. We prayed for their hearts and we prayed for their souls. 

We are grateful and forever thankful that God has chosen us to be her forever family and we are determined to make sure God is glorified in this adoption.
